Nestled in the serene Sauerland region, the Bigger Hof - Wirtshaus Platzhirsch Am Jahnplatz proved to be a delightful sanctuary for my family retreat. Our spacious and immaculate rooms offered a comfortable haven after days filled with guided hikes and bike rides through the tranquil countryside. While the ski resorts of Winterberg and Willingen are a short drive away, the proximity of the hotel to these winter wonderlands added to our convenience.The warm hospitality extended by the staff, exemplified by their quick thinking when our room was unexpectedly overbooked, shone through. We were graciously upgraded to two separate rooms, ensuring our comfort. The evenings were a delight at the on-site bar and restaurant, where we indulged in flavorsome meals and unwound in the welcoming ambiance.As a family, we cherished the inclusive atmosphere of the hotel, perfect for travelers seeking a quiet and clean abode amidst the picturesque surroundings of the Sauerland. A hidden gem for those looking to savor the region's natural beauty, Bigger Hof is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone seeking a restful escape.
